Four days in Paris

Strolling along the Seine tasting wine and cheese, from Brie to Bordeaux - Paris spoils the taste buds.

1. Exploring Versailles

Get there as early as possible - even at 09:00, it was already bustling with tourists, but the grandeur of the palace made it worth braving the crowds. The opulence and history of Versailles are truly a sight to behold. If you’re planning a trip, definitely add this to your itinerary.

2.Strolls and Culinary Delights

Food Market dating 1615 - Marché Couvert des Enfants Rouges

I spent the rest of my days strolling along the Seine and the city’s small streets. There’s something magical about walking along the river, looking at the beautiful buildings and checking out as many brasseries as possible to indulge in copious amounts of wine and cheese with a view.

3. Recommendations

Wine bars and brasseries

  • L’Etna - beautiful wine bar and chill atmosphere (try the Tuna Rillettes with your glass of crisp white wine)

  • Francette - beautiful brasserie on the Seine with a view to the Eiffel Tower

  • Les Enfants du Marché - wonderful wine and delicious sea food

Bars

  • Café de Paris V - fun piano bar that you should try after dinner

  • Le Caveau de la Huchette - very compact jazz bar which I recommend leaving for your last night in Paris

Restaurants

  • Le Vieux Bistrot - if you love Raclette and Fondue, you will adore this place!
